We like to keep our Clients up to date with the latest scams, and below are are a couple.
This email scam has been seen in various forms, some quoting a password and some without. Even if the email contains a password you once used, you not need to go scrambling down the back of the sofa for some loose Bitcoin.
The most convincing part of the email is that is appears to come from your own email address. This is one of the simplest tricks to perform and does not have any connection with your account. Simply adding a fake name when adding our email to Microsoft Outlook will work.
If you get an email like this, ignore it, junk it and DO NOT forward it.
Hi, your account was infected! Modify your password right this moment!
You do not heard about me and you are most probably wanting to know for what reason you are receiving this particular electronic message, is it right?
I am ahacker who burstyour emailand all devicesseveral months ago.
Don’t attempt to talk to me or alternatively find me, it is definitely impossible, since I sent you this message from YOUR account that I’ve hacked.
I’ve build in malware on the adult videos (porno) website and guess you have spent time on this site to have a good time (you realize what I want to say).
While you were keeping an eye on films, your internet browser began operating as a RDP (Remote Control) with a keylogger that provided me ability to access your display and web camera.
Next step, my software programaquiredall data.
You put passcodes on the web services you visited, I already caught them.
Of course, you can modify them, or have already modified them.
However it does not matter, my app renews it regularly.
What actually did I do?
I got a backup of your system. Of each file and contacts.
I created a dual-screen video recording. The first part presents the video you were observing (you’ve the perfect taste, ha-ha…), and the second screen displays the recording from your camera.
What exactly should you do?
Clearly, in my view, 1000 USD is basically a realistic amount of money for this very little secret. You will do the payment by bitcoins (if you don’t understand this, go searching “how to buy bitcoin” in any search engine).
My bitcoin wallet address:
16zMV1xrua7rTPH1kThabt5ccWEEmHvtaM
(It is cAsE sensitive, so just copy and paste it).
Warning:
You will have only 48 hours in order to make the payment. (I put an exclusive pixel in this message, and at this point I know that you have read through this email).
To trackthe reading of a messageand the activityin it, I utilizea Facebook pixel. Thanks to them. (That whichcan be usedfor the authorities may also helpus.)
In case I fail to get bitcoins, I’ll undoubtedly direct your video to all your contacts, including family members, co-workers, etcetera?
The other common email doing the rounds at the moment is a one line email. It often will say Hi followed by your name. There is a website link and nothing else. These are standard spam emails most often from BT or Yahoo email accounts. Always check before you click on a link or attachment within an email. If you are not expecting the email, chances are it is fake.
