Today's medication
Each round on the home's to-do list, with what is due and when.
Precinct Care
Medicines given, refusals, PRN reasons, stock counts and controlled-drug second signatures, recorded on the tablet and signed with the worker's face.
Children's homes must keep a record of every medicine given to a young person (regulation 23 and Schedule 3 of the 2015 Regulations). Precinct Care keeps that record in the young person's file, next to their health needs and allergies.
Where we are: Precinct Care is in final development, shaped with registered managers, Responsible Individuals and Reg 44 visitors. We are booking demonstrations now and taking a small number of pilot homes. The snippets on this page are from the working system, filled with made-up people and records.
Each round on the home's to-do list, with what is due and when.
Who gave it and when, signed with their face on a registered device.
Refused doses and the reason for every as-needed dose.
Regular counts recorded, so gaps show early.
A controlled drugs register with second signatures.
Allergies show in red at the top of every file and on every trip.
Medication sits alongside health appointments, the young person's GP and dentist, and their health needs. Medication audits are part of the monthly checks, and the training matrix shows who is trained to give medicines.
For adult care services, the medicine record follows CQC expectations and sits with the person-centred care plan.
Book a 30-minute demonstration. We'll show you the screens your staff, managers and inspectors would use.
