Most care software is written for England and adjusted later. Precinct Care sets its rules from each service's type and country, so a home in Dumfries or Wrexham sees the right forms from the first day.
Where we are: Precinct Care is in final development, shaped with registered managers, Responsible Individuals and Reg 44 visitors. We are booking demonstrations now and taking a small number of pilot homes. The snippets on this page are from the working system, filled with made-up people and records.
Scotland: Care Inspectorate
- Follows the Requirements for Care Services Regulations 2011 and the Health and Social Care Standards.
- Language follows The Promise.
- Legal status options include Compulsory Supervision Orders, with Children's Hearing reviews tracked.
- Care Inspectorate eForms: restrictive practice within 24 hours and incidents within 48 hours, using initials only.
- No Reg 44 visits: oversight is through the provider's external manager and Care Inspectorate self-evaluation.

Wales: Care Inspectorate Wales
- Follows the Regulated Services (Service Providers and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2017.
- Reg 60 notifications to CIW through CIW Online, without delay.
- The Responsible Individual visits at least every three months (reg 73) and reviews quality of care every six months (reg 80).
- Each young person's language preference is recorded, with evidence of the Welsh language Active Offer, and reviews can be held in Welsh.
