Person-centred care plans
What matters to the person, how they like to be supported, and their own words.
Precinct Care
The same system, set for CQC: person-centred care plans, mental capacity and best interests decisions, DoLS, and statutory notifications, for learning disability, supported living and older people's services.
Precinct Care started with children's homes, and many providers also run adult services. For services registered with CQC, it follows the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and CQC's single assessment framework.
Where we are: Precinct Care is in final development, shaped with registered managers, Responsible Individuals and Reg 44 visitors. We are booking demonstrations now and taking a small number of pilot homes. The snippets on this page are from the working system, filled with made-up people and records.
What matters to the person, how they like to be supported, and their own words.
Decision-specific capacity assessments and best interests decisions, recorded properly.
Applications, authorisations and review dates, with reminders before they expire.
Deaths, serious injuries, abuse or allegations and DoLS outcomes, sent without delay and tracked.
Who holds LPA for health or finances, and appointees or deputies.
Wishes and ReSPECT forms recorded, so staff know what the person wants.
Falls, weight and nutrition (MUST), memory clinic and hospital passport.
For people who may go missing, kept ready in the format police use.
CQC assesses services under five key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Precinct Care's audit trail, monthly audits (medication, care plans, falls, infection control) and manager oversight give the evidence of good governance that Regulation 17 asks for.
QLine IT also installs managed Wi-Fi for care homes and supported living, with separate networks for residents, staff and visitors. See care home and supported living Wi-Fi.
Book a 30-minute demonstration. We'll show you the screens your staff, managers and inspectors would use.
