An inspection pack
Young people placed, incidents, physical interventions, missing episodes since the last inspection, complaints and staff training, on one page.
Precinct Care
When Ofsted arrive, give the inspector read-only access to the home's records for the inspection days. Nothing to print, nothing to download, and every page they open recorded.
During an inspection, managers spend hours finding records, printing files and answering "can you show me". Precinct Care keeps an inspection pack ready all the time, and lets you give the inspector their own read-only view, on site or remotely.
Where we are: Precinct Care is in final development, shaped with registered managers, Responsible Individuals and Reg 44 visitors. We are booking demonstrations now and taking a small number of pilot homes. The snippets on this page are from the working system, filled with made-up people and records.
Young people placed, incidents, physical interventions, missing episodes since the last inspection, complaints and staff training, on one page.
Physical interventions, missing episodes, Reg 40 notifications, the Reg 45 review and Reg 44 reports, each one click away.
The inspector can open any young person's file. They cannot change anything.
Roles, training, DBS and supervision. Staff recruitment files only if the inspector asks and you allow it.
Every page shows the inspector's name as a watermark, so a screenshot can always be traced.
You choose when access ends, normally the end of the inspection, and you can remove it at any time.

The registered manager enters the inspector's name and official work email, chooses what they can see and when access ends. The inspector signs in with a one-time code sent to their official email, then a code to their phone. They don't need a Precinct account or password.

The pack shows the home's registration, last inspection and grade, then the numbers inspectors ask about first. Every record listed opens read-only, and the home's audit trail shows exactly what was viewed and when.
The same pack works for CQC, the Care Inspectorate and CIW, with the right records for each.
No. Access is read-only, with nothing to download or print, and each page shows the inspector's name.
Yes. You can start access from now or from a set time, and give it to an inspector working remotely.
Yes. Reg 44 visitors get a similar read-only pass on the home's tablet. See Reg 44 visits.
Book a 30-minute demonstration. We'll show you the screens your staff, managers and inspectors would use.
