This page explains what the QLine IT website (qlineit.com) stores on your device and why. The website is run by QLine IT Limited (company number 07500720).

What we use
Google Ads conversion measurement (only if you press Accept)
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. If you press Accept, we load Google's tag, which sets cookies on qlineit.com whose names start with _gcl. They last up to 90 days. They let us see whether a visit that started from one of our Google adverts led to an enquiry: a request for our digital safeguarding checklist, a message through our contact form, or a tap on one of our phone numbers. Google receives this information and handles it under the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not use these cookies for remarketing (following you around the web with adverts), personalised advertising, or Google Analytics. If you press Reject, or ignore the banner, Google's tag is not loaded at all and no request is made to Google.
Remembering your cookie choice (always on)
We store your Accept or Reject choice in your browser's local storage under the name qline-cookie-consent, so we don't ask again on every page. It is kept for 12 months, then we ask again. This is needed for the site to respect your choice.
Client downloads page (always on, only if you use it)
If a client enters the password on our downloads page, we note that in the browser's session storage until the browser tab is closed, so the page stays open. Nothing else is stored.
Visitor statistics (no cookies)
We count page visits with Ahrefs Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it does not identify you. It tells us which pages are read and how people found us.
Forms
Our contact and checklist forms are processed by Netlify, which hosts this website. Submitting a form does not set cookies. What we do with the details you send is explained in our privacy policy.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop measurement and remove the Google cookies from qlineit.com. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings.
