Last updated: 25 October 2026
This statement covers qlineit.com, including the Precinct Care pages at qlineit.com/care/. The website is run by QLine IT Limited (company number 07500720). We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, whatever their sight, hearing, movement, reading or thinking needs.
The Precinct Care software itself has its own accessibility statement, which staff can open from the footer of every screen once signed in.
Using this website
You should be able to:
- zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen, and read every page on a phone
- change colours, fonts and text size using your browser or device settings
- get around the whole site using just a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are, and jump straight past the menu with a "Skip to main content" link
- use a screen reader such as VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS, or speech recognition software
- turn on your device's reduced motion setting to stop movement effects
- use the site without accepting cookies
We write in plain English, with short sentences and no unexplained jargon. Every image has a text description, or is marked as decorative so screen readers skip it. Links in text are underlined, so they don't rely on colour alone.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard used across the UK.
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, because of the problems listed below. It has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so there may be other problems we haven't found. When we have had an independent audit, we will publish what it found here.
Problems we know about
- PDF documents. A small number of older PDF files, such as downloadable guides, may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need one in another format, ask us and we will send it.
- Videos. Videos on our Precinct Care pages are hosted on YouTube, where you can turn on subtitles. Written transcripts are not on every page yet. We are adding them, and can send any transcript on request.
- Older articles. Some articles were brought across from our previous website. We have checked them for image descriptions, but headings and link wording in a few may still be less clear than on newer pages.
- Third-party content. Content we don't control, such as embedded YouTube players, Google reviews and the Google Maps links, follows those companies' own accessibility standards.
What we have done
- Built the site with proper headings, landmarks and labels so assistive technology can find its way around.
- Tested our main pages with the axe accessibility checker on 25 October 2026, and fixed every problem it found: colour contrast on two coloured panels, and links that relied on colour alone.
- Added a "Skip to main content" link and a visible keyboard focus outline on every link, button and form field.
- Given every form field a proper label that screen readers announce.
Information in another format
If you need anything on this website in a different format, such as large print, easy read, an audio recording or braille, or a transcript of a video, contact us:
- Email: support@qlineit.com

We'll reply within 5 working days, and tell you how long it will take to produce what you need. If you'd rather talk to us another way, such as through Relay UK (dial 18001 before our number), just let us know.
Reporting a problem
If you find something on this website hard to use, or you think we are not meeting the accessibility standard, please tell us using the contact details above. Say which page and what happened, and what device and software you were using if you can. We treat accessibility problems as faults to fix, not as feature requests.
If you're not happy with our response
QLine IT is a private company, so the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations do not apply to this website. We still follow them as good practice, and we have duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people.
If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
About this statement
This statement was prepared on 25 October 2026. It is based on our own testing of the website, including automated testing with axe and manual checks with a keyboard. We will review it at least once a year, and whenever we make a major change to the website.
