Making Tax Digital and cloud accounting

Making Tax Digital has moved almost every practice onto cloud software, client portals and digital records, which works well until the broadband fails or a login is stolen. We help practices make that move safely: choosing the right mix of desktop and cloud software, putting two-factor authentication on every client-facing system, and making sure the internet connection, and its backup, can carry a business that now cannot work without it.

If you still run a server for practice software or historic client records, we will keep it healthy for as long as you need it, and plan the move off it properly rather than in a hurry when the hardware fails.

Support planned around your deadlines

We plan around your calendar. For accountancy clients that means no planned maintenance or disruptive changes in January or around key VAT and payroll deadlines, priority response when you are close to a filing date, and extra attention to backups when your data is changing fastest.

What it costs

Full IT support is £26 per computer a month plus VAT, with a minimum of five computers. A ten-computer practice pays £260 a month. How much does IT support cost for an accountancy firm?

Do you support Sage, Xero, IRIS and QuickBooks?

Yes. Practice and accounts software is everyday work for us: installation, updates, integrations, data problems, and dealing with the vendor on your behalf.

How do you keep client data safe?

Encrypted storage, access by role, two-factor authentication, regularly checked backups and GDPR documentation. We hold Cyber Essentials Plus ourselves and apply the same controls to our clients.

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

Yes. We take over passwords, licences, domains and documentation, run alongside your outgoing provider during the change, and schedule the switch away from your filing deadlines.

Do you only work with accountants in Leeds?

No. We visit practices across West Yorkshire, and because most support is remote, we look after firms across the UK.
