QLine IT looks after the computers, email, networks and security of businesses across Leeds and West Yorkshire. We monitor your systems, fix problems remotely, come on site when something needs hands on a keyboard, and give your whole team one number to call.

We have been trading in Leeds for over 25 years, as a limited company since 2011, and have looked after more than 2,000 clients since 2016. Our helpdesk handles nearly 200 support requests a week, and every ticket and email is answered within 30 minutes.

Managed IT support starts at £130 a month for five computers, plus VAT. The price is published, fixed for the contract term, and covers unlimited remote support.

Choosing between IT support companies in Leeds

There are a lot of IT support companies in Leeds, and most of their websites say similar things. These are the questions worth asking each one, and our answers.

Will you tell me the price before we talk?

Yes. Our prices are published: £26 per computer a month for full support, with a minimum of five computers.

Is remote support unlimited, or charged per ticket?

Unlimited on a full support contract. You will not receive an invoice for asking a question.

Is monitoring included, or an extra?

Included. Monitoring is how most problems are found before your staff notice them.

How quickly will you respond?

Phones are answered by our own team, and every ticket and email is answered within 30 minutes during opening hours.

How long is the contract?

Twelve months, then it rolls on with notice either way. No three-year terms and no exit fees.

What do you hold yourselves?

Cyber Essentials Plus, independently assessed every year, and Microsoft Solutions Partner status. Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check.

Business IT support, priced per computer

Full IT support is £26 per computer a month plus VAT, with a minimum of five computers. That is the whole monthly bill: helpdesk, monitoring, maintenance, Microsoft 365 administration, backup and security support are all included.

10£260
20£520

Hardware and one-off projects such as office moves, server upgrades or a Microsoft 365 migration are quoted separately, from £450 plus VAT, so your monthly fee stays predictable. If you only want monitoring, or prefer to pay by the hour, both options are on the pricing page.

How switching to QLine works

Most businesses that put up with poor IT support do so because they expect switching to be disruptive. It does not need to be.

  1. We talk. You tell us how many people and computers you have, what you use and what is not working. We put a fixed monthly price in writing.
  2. We take over. We collect passwords, licences, domains and documentation, and we can deal with your current provider directly if you would rather not.
  3. We install monitoring. Our monitoring goes on alongside the old arrangement, so nothing is left unprotected during the change.
  4. You have one number. Your team calls or emails us for every IT problem. If remote support cannot fix it, an engineer comes to you.

Areas we cover

Our office is at Killingbeck Court in east Leeds, which puts most of the city within a 20 to 30 minute drive. We provide on-site and remote support across Leeds, including the city centre, Seacroft, Cross Gates, Garforth, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Headingley, Horsforth, Pudsey, Morley, Rothwell, Wetherby, Yeadon and Otley.

We also look after businesses in Bradford, Wakefield, Castleford, Dewsbury and Huddersfield, and because most support is delivered remotely, we have clients across the UK. If you have more than one site, one contract covers them all.

Questions we're asked

How much does IT support cost in Leeds?

Our full managed IT support is £26 per computer a month plus VAT, with a minimum of five computers, so a five-computer business pays £130 a month. Monitoring only is £13 per computer a month, and ad-hoc support with no contract is £90 an hour. Every price is on our pricing page.

What is the difference between managed IT support and ad-hoc support?

With ad-hoc support you call when something breaks and pay for the time. With managed IT support we look after your systems continuously for a fixed monthly fee: monitoring, maintenance, updates, backups and unlimited remote help are included, so many problems are fixed before anyone reports them.

How quickly do you respond?

Our own team answers the phone, and every ticket and email is answered within 30 minutes during opening hours. Most problems are then fixed remotely. If a visit is needed, an engineer comes to you.

What are your opening hours?

9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Clients on a support contract also have urgent support from 6am to 10pm, every day, which matters for organisations such as children's homes and pharmacies.

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

Yes. We take over passwords, licences, domains and documentation, install our monitoring before the old arrangement ends, and can deal with your outgoing provider for you.

Do you charge for on-site visits?

On a full support contract the labour is included. Travel is charged at £26 an hour and 55p a mile, so a visit to an office in Leeds costs a few pounds rather than a call-out fee.

Do you support businesses outside Leeds?

Yes. We visit businesses across West Yorkshire, and because most support is remote, we look after organisations throughout the UK.
