Malware protection, access control and GDPR support, built on the Cyber Essentials controls.

Managed IT or break-fix: which is cheaper?
Break-fix looks cheaper until something goes wrong. Our ad-hoc rate is £90 an hour, and a single bad day with a failed server or a ransomware infection can cost more than a year of monitoring. Managed IT turns that uncertain cost into a fixed one, and prevents many of the failures in the first place.

Co-managed IT: support for your in-house IT person
If you already have someone who looks after IT, we can work alongside them rather than replace them. We take on monitoring, patching, security and backup, and act as their escalation point, while they keep day-to-day ownership. Our Monitoring service, at £13 per computer a month, is designed for exactly this, with hands-on help at £60 an hour when they need it.
Switching to a new managed service provider
Many businesses stay with a provider they are unhappy with because switching sounds disruptive. We collect passwords, licences, domains and documentation, install our monitoring before the old arrangement ends so nothing is left unprotected, and deal with your outgoing provider for you if you prefer.

QLine IT holds Cyber Essentials Plus, assessed by IASME every year, and is a Microsoft Solutions Partner. We are a listed UK Safer Internet Centre filtering and monitoring integrator and a Scottish Care commercial partner, and every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check.

How long are your contracts?
Twelve months, then it rolls on with notice either way. No three-year terms and no exit fees.
Can you work alongside our internal IT person?
Yes. Co-managed IT is common: we take on monitoring, security and the heavy lifting, and your IT person keeps day-to-day ownership.
How quickly do you respond?
Our own team answers the phone, and every ticket and email is answered within 30 minutes during opening hours. Many problems are found by monitoring before anyone reports them.
