This Privacy Policy explains how PC Repair Leeds LTD, trading as QLine IT (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our QuickBooks Online integration (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
PC Repair Leeds LTD, trading as QLine IT, is an IT support business based at 6 Killingbeck Court, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS14 6FD, United Kingdom. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@qlineit.com.
2. What data the App accesses
When you authorise the App to connect to your Intuit QuickBooks Online account, it may access the following data through Intuit’s official API, strictly with your consent:
- Company information (business name, currency, and industry)
- Financial reports such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and accounts receivable/payable ageing
- Invoices, estimates, customers, products and services, and related transaction records
- Payroll and employee summary data, where you choose to grant that scope
The App only requests the permission scopes needed to provide the features you use. It does not access your Intuit login credentials, bank login credentials, or full payment card numbers.
3. How we use your data
We use the data accessed through the App solely to provide the services you request, for example generating financial summaries, reports, and analysis for your own business. We do not use your QuickBooks data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Lawful basis for processing
Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent (which you give when you authorise the connection) and, where relevant, our legitimate interest in providing the services you have requested. You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the App (see section 8).
5. Data storage and security
Access tokens and any retrieved data are handled securely and protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit. We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted.
6. Data sharing
We do not share your QuickBooks data with third parties except: (a) Intuit, as the source of the data and under their own terms; (b) service providers who process data strictly on our behalf under contract; or (c) where required by law. Any such parties are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@qlineit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Disconnecting the App
You can revoke the App’s access at any time from within your QuickBooks Online account under Apps > Connected apps, or by contacting us. On disconnection, we stop accessing your data and delete any retained copies that are no longer required.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
